The Chinese Government has pledged to spend US$5 billion on capital infrastructure projects – the FMCEC is determined that part of this should be spent on British equipment. See enclosed brochure for details.

Bauma is the world’s fair for construction equipment. In 1998 the FMCEC took a group of 75 companies to Bauma. Registration closes in June 2000. Application forms will be circulated in Spring 2000.

ANKOMAK

May 2001 Istanbul, Turkey.

A SESA niche event. In addition to a growing home market for construction equipment Ankomak affords access to the emerging markets of the former Soviet republics. Following the disastrous earthquake major re-construction plans are underway in Turkey.

FMCEC Exhibition Enhanced Display Package

FMCEC members not exhibiting at any of the above shows can take advantage of the enhanced display package on the FMCEC British Group Information Stand. The package offers graphic and literature display areas and a full post event report, plus a contacts database of serious enquiries from visitors to the stand. Company staff visiting the show may also use the information centre as a meeting point, to access the Internet or just to call in and have a break and take advantage of the light refreshments on offer.

The package costs vary but always provide a good value, cost-effective way of dipping a toe in the market to assess initial interest without all the overheads of exhibiting.
