Punj Lloyd is one of the largest engineering construction companies in India and is active in the Sub-continent, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. He will cover the Indian market – and identify opportunities for UK manufacturers.

How can Government help you?
A Panel of Government experts (national and regional), plus the Chief Executive of the CEA, will guide you through the maze of Government schemes announced to help companies survive the recession.

Technical updates
To gain the competitive edge, and keep one step ahead of our global competitors, UK manufacturers need to be in touch with the latest technical issues and standards. The afternoon's technical sessions aim to do just that.

Bounce Back will see that launch of the innovative and invaluable CEA Standards Database – which has been created so that members can quickly check what the current situation is on any standard, and to help establish what the relevant standards are on any subject. Information shown includes details of the current edition of a published standard, whether it is undergoing change, what the status of the change is, and a brief summary of the purpose of the change and the main items of contention. Also on the database are references to the actual working documents of the standards committees so that we can provide more information to members where needed.

CONEQT - European Regulatory Road Map – an update on this important Pan European CECE (Committee for European Construction Equipment) initiative from Mark Ireland (External Standards and Legislation representative, JCB).

Mechanical Hybrid Systems Doug Cross (Flybrid Systems). Hybrid technology is at the forefront of systems development, and attracts Government support for cleaner, greener technologies. Doug will outline how this innovation is set to shape our industry.

An Expert Technical Panel of industry exports from industry, Government and the CEA will discuss current issues and try to answer your questions on technical problems.
