Malcolm Kent - your Technical Consultant. After long involvement with CEA and CECE activities while working for Komatsu UK, including spells as Chairman of the General Technical Committee and as President of the CECE Technical Commission, I am now involved again with all the technical issues that our members tussle with. As part of that role I sit on the standards committee for our sector, BSI B/513/1. Recent activity has been concentrated on the change to the Machinery Directive, and on the problems with quick couplers in the UK market.

Not wishing to take the wind out of your sails, there is another forum - the british construction equipment forum http://www.ceforum.co.uk which is gaining ground very quickly. Maybe worth a look or combining our offerings in some way?

Hello I am Dominick Kelly I work at RWS Group, one are one of the largest translation companies in the world with 50 years experience.
The companies knowledge of the both the construction and underground/surface mining industries is vast, currently supporting over 230 languages worldwide.
As the first ISO 9001 accredited language provider our process is geared to utilise our in-country, native speaking engineers to the best of their ability.

I have a strong belief that firsthand experience in a robust QA process will create the most cost effective industry-specific language possible.
As a former technical authoring consultant I have been working with static and mobile crushers, screeners, yellow goods and processing equipment documents for over 6 years.
Should any forum members have a question regarding translation or how to reduce the affects of language when authoring documents for ISO TC 127 standards I would be happy to help where I can.
