 CEA TRADE SHOW - PLANTWORX 2013 Launched
The CEA can confirm that it will be organising a new major UK working construction event, PLANTWORX. The first show will be held at Stoneleigh Park (Warwickshire) on 14th/15th/16th May 2013. At last week’s London press launch it was confirmed that the event already has the support of many of the leading equipment manufacturers. Advanced Manufacturing Growth Summit
Last week the CEA was represented amongst leading industrialists at the BIS Advanced Manufacturing Growth Summit. Around 200 top industrialists and representative organisations were briefed by a ministerial team led by Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg. He called for a radical rebalancing of the British economy “in almost every aspect” – with manufacturing taking a leading role.
